Agreed 100%. This song has been at the top of my wishlist since 2003. At this point I would happily settle for a slightly reworked version. I know a lot people around here seem to hate on the alternate in my tree but if you were at MSG in 2003 you probably agree with me that any form of in my tree is better than none at all. Besides with how few times they've played No Way even on the Yield tour maybe there is something the band doesn't like about playing it live.
By the way, I'll gladly hold a sign at both Chicago nights if someone takes that initiative.
I cannot access youtube at work, but go to it, search for Pearl Jam No Way Atlanta 1998. So fucking good. You will not be disapointed. In fact, that is part of what makes me sad about this song. It has only been played like 3 times, but the versions played were soo good. They didn't sound messy or like a song that never gets played. Of all the songs Pearl Jam has not played in awhile, this is the one I most want to hear. As a lover of Yield, that is no surprise, but really, this song is top notch.
words seem so out of place.

When did "Deep" become THE song to hear live? I'd take "No Way" a million times over "Deep". However, the song that HAS to return is "Nothing as it Seems"...as a show opener
im predicting alot of rare gems this tour... they seemed to really enjoy bustin em out last tour... dont want any one song to become a staple of the entire tour the way "all night" and "who you are" did... just mix it up with something new every show to keep it fun... they gotta be looking back alot with the big anniversary coming up... and god knows theyve had plenty of time to practice and perfect the songs theyve forgotten
and i dont think any song from ten needs a petition... after the reissue theyre probably gonna get plenty of attention on the setlists
I would love if they played more of the deeper yield tunes, more often, and retired the ten songs (except release)
I don't get the emphatuation with Release, it's a boring song he made the words up to in a few minutes. I turn the album off when it comes on, they should have stuck Ledbetter on there instead.
Mind you, I agree a lot of the songs from Ten need a rest; except maybe Why Go, Once and Alive.
that needs to be played again. Was praying for it in 08 but the original Garden was enough of a treat.
and release!
release was amazing but The original Garden is in my top 3 all time Pj tunes ever. If the boys do play the spectrum the last song they should play is No Way since there is No Way another building will hold so many memories to me like the spectrum did.
Comments
yup.
but they both need to be played
different energy
no way into deep and my head would explode
Start it in Europe and keep it truckin right through Chitown.
You Are
No Way
