Pearl Jam should go on The Hour when they are in Toronto. Who's with me?

It's a good show, and the interviews are usually very well done. George Stroumboulopoulos can get a bit anoying when he's going over the news and trying to be hip, but he usually puts all of that nonsense aside when he's talking to a guest. I think the interview would turn out to be really interesting.

Is The Hour taping in August? I'm not sure when the season runs.

that would be sweet. would rather see pearl jam live on the hour here in canada, then those 2 plagued much music or much more music station's.

chum tv has been hit hard with the 'hive virus'. vh1 totally took over both our 2 canadian video music stations with about 80% of the time slot's completely plagued with vh1 programing. i want music videos. i miss my music videos. these 2 channels don't carry music videos like they did. the 'hive virus' spreads & spreads. if i want to see a film or a soap opera or celebrity's, i'll watch it on another channel. i just wanna watch some music videos. that's all i'm asking ...

oh, back to the hour! lol

i so hope pearl jam does make a special appearance on george's show!

yeah they are totally edited down for time constraints, i think it is so he can fit 3 in a show though sometimes.

George was also at Massey Hall to catch Ed's show - truth be told, George worked to bring Ed on as a guest of the show but my understanding is that Ed declined,...

I wonder what it would take??? If they're going to do interviews, this seems like one of the better ones to do.

You meant to label this thread :

"Pearl Jam should go on tour this summer" (or announce some damn dates already)

I know George is a big PJ fan and has wanted to interview PJ since day 1.
Sadly PJ has never granted him an interview (he has tried).
I'd love to see ANY member of PJ on The Hour.

I went to a taping of the Hour last year; the record it "live" in the afternoon for airing that night, so I don't think they edit any of the interviews. Sometimes if a guest isn't available for interview during the regular taping time, they will interview them at another time, but usually still with a studio audience.

I'm pretty sure the Hour goes on hiatus over the summer until Sept, so I'd be surprised if they did a taping in August, but who knows, if George has been trying for a long time to get an interview, he might take any opportunity he can get....

Keep checking the Hour website - they'll announce which tapings are coming up and who the guests are; all you have to do to get a ticket is email them indicating which date you want to attend (tickets are free)

That would be awesome! I love George and I know some people find him annoying but I actually still enjoy him...I guess it doesn't hurt that he is easy on the eyes and still a bit of a :geek:

I would also love to hear an interview on Jian Ghomeshi's radio program, Q. It's really good, and again, I think Pearl Jam would be a perfect fit.
