Bloggers?

It seems as though I've been noticing a decreasing trend of blogging lately. Has this just become the uncool thing to do? I enjoy writing on my own in my own private journal/blog, but I also enjoy reading the occasional news or comical blog I happen to stumble across. Awhile ago, my husband and I took up a hobby in thrift store shopping and decided to create a blog on our finds... Our nightmare finds... Just out of fun.

So my question is... Does anybody blog anymore? Are there specific blogs that you read? Do you do your own blogging or journaling? Or am I alone in the blogging world?

Oh! And please do share all the blogs that interest you/your own blog if you wish!

Blogging is alive and well. Blogging is still the #1 social media platform for businesses. Businesses should use at least 3 social media tools, and many of them blog, tweet, and use facebook or linkedin.

I've been blogging ever since I finished Julie and Julia about 5 or 6 years ago.

Tumblr is all the blog craze right now as the focus is on visual presentation. I followi NPR, Mike McCready, Grist, Oliver Strand, Handsome Roasters and others on tumblr. I blog there at http://coffeecupcrossroads.tumblr.com. Once this project is completed, I plan on starting a 3-year blog project. It's not easy to find other tumblr blogs through tumblr's search engine. I usually read other tumblr blogs by being directed to them via twitter.

I follow twitter more, but if a tweet interests me I go to the blog. I read a lot of blogs about the change in the book/library/publishing industries. It's kindof cool.
