I've been reading the "Grunge is Dead" book, rewatched Hype, seeing the Melvins/Green River footage, the Diction pics, etc.

Which got me thinking how awesome it would be for Pearl Jam to pull a Dylan a la the Rolling Thunder Revue and get together musicians and bands that were influential in the Seattle sound of the 80's to early 90's.

For those who aren't familiar with the Rolling Thunder tour, Dylan brought along a group of friends (some of which only appeared at a show or two on the tour) and had them do a song or two and sometimes a small set. They were really ecclectic shows with some really special performances.

I think it would be great for Pearl Jam to do something like this focusing on the Seattle sound. Besides some of the groups I mentioned previously, I would love to see a mini-set with members of MLBone and Shawn Smith sitting in for Andy (or the Wood brothers with Shawn). What acts would you want included on a Seattle Sound Revue opening your pj show?
