So, you consider a thoughtfully written PM to be spam? It didn't occur to me that such an attempt at outreach could offend anyone so deeply. Guess we'll just have to find a way to have fun without you. (Incidentally, "we" includes similarly contacted members who posted ahead of you.)

I'll only go if he doesn't go. Sounds like a buzzkill for sure. I wonder if he's the guy who asked me if I was going to stand through the entire Pearl Jam show........ "Why yes, I am, especially now".......

I know, it's a problem I can't seem to avoid. I work up such a sweat while "sucking" (let's be consistent with the lingo, please) at this tribute thing that no amount of power-washing, or generous application of deodorant, or dousing with musk fragrance seems to alleviate the man-stink that sticks to me in the aftermath of every No Code performance. Got any hygiene tips for me, Kitty Cat?

You're all right, Wyld Man. When this shill isn't shilling, he's a bit of a wordie who likes seldom-used terms such as "shill".

Did you get a load at the coif on the guy pictured to the right? Well, of all the ways it could be described, "Ed hair" isn't one of them. I'm lucky enough to perform a reasonable facsimile of the man's voice; trying to copy his hairstyle wasn't in my genetic cards.

As per Ten, Nick is a tremendous singer, perhaps the best of the "Ed wannabes". I've seen his band on most of their NYC-area tour stops in the last few years. They rock hard, just as all the PJ tributes do. (That is, when we aren't busy "sucking".)

Oh I thought that was Ben Stiller singing in the avatar pic. It's kind of hard for an old woman like me to see.

I just asked about the Ed wanna be's hair b/c Ed's hair was a sensitive subject on these boards years ago.
If anyone talked about his hair instead of the music, well you probably know :)

I've heard that your band is really good.

Thanks very much. I'd sooner buzz my head than disrespect PJ's music.

This sounds like a good gig! We are sitting in with the little one on Sat night, but to everyone going "Have a killer time!"
got a car...got some gas...oh let's get out of here-get out of here fast...
I hope you get this message but your not home...I will be there in just a minute or so...
I want to go but I want to go with you.

Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime. -MT

I've had enough, said enough, felt enough. I'm fine, still in it.

ill never forget the time I saw ten at bb kings with sam. We got so shitfaced, he even orded red wine for crazy mary and we passed that bottle aroud to everyone in the front row. Nick from ten even had some.
Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight
    Sammi: Wanna just break up?

I was supposed to attend that show with my then-girlfriend but I was feeling ill. I had to stay home to get well for the cancer benefit I was scheduled to play the next afternoon, as an acoustic duo with that Guitarhero27 guy. Ballpark figure on the amount you and Sam were charged for a mid-range red: $75. Welcome to Times Square.

How could a wine bottle go for $30 when they get $8-9 for a Bud draft? I should've never left the biz!

We're back in NYC to play a private fundraiser on June 5, though that's not what you had in mind. We may have a regular gig later in the month. Stay tuned.
