Great Doves show, eh? I love the morose video projections!

As much as I dislike Live Nation, I must give props to their new ticketing system. For shows with reserved seats, you can pick the exact seats you want (though not always at the time of the initial onsale). They are also fast about mailing them out.

    sweet. those are cool.

I hate the generic TM tickets.

My favorite ticket in my collection from shows I've attended is the pointy man from the 2nd run of the 95 tour.

Also Phish always had cool mail order tickets, and the Woodstock 99 ticket is sweet.

I have a pair of tix from Live Nation too. They are obnoxiously big. I don't think those will fit in a normal pocket without folding/bending the ticket and ruining it.

I'd like them a lot more if the picture had something to do with the band or the venue .... but, indeed, they are better thant he generic TM tickets ...

back in the day, PJ used to have art on their tickets ... and I had these form Munich, which, I love.

Grateful Dead had great tickets. Raised printing with glitter paint. I forged them when I was in high school, raised printing, perforations and all and some friends got in with my forgeries at Nassau Coliseum. Six years later when I worked for the promoter, our head of security was also Grateful Dead's tour security. I told him what I used to do, and he handed me a Woodstock '99 ticket. He asked if I could forge that. I said I could probably come up with something convincing. Then he asked "but what about this part" and showing me some features that were new... and I was like "ok, nope I probably can't". Anyway, if anyone needs an unused Woodstock '99 bracelet that they gave you at entry, let me know. I've got a box somewhere of them. :)

I think with digital printing, it would be cool if sometime in the next 10 years they offer souvenier tickets, with the band's photo on them, that are unique for each event.

Also, I think it would be cool if when PJ sells TC tickets that they should have the TC member upload his picture to them, and they could print it on the tickets to make them 100% unscalpable. :D

That's true. I've got Relentless7 tix from LiveNation and they are considerably bigger than those ticketbastard tix.
