Should PJ play Good Morning America?

I saw this morning that Green Day played GMA, and it was free and outdoors, with BS-ing with the hosts. Then they would launch into American Idiot (funny song to be playing thru the media) and a small pit ensued. Saw one mother hand her 2 year old over the barricade then herself (great idea, bring your 2 year old to the front of a Green Day performance).

Anyway - it got me thinking, is the late-night crowd the only one that PJ should be catering to, in their new found media-savvy ways? No more worry about commercial breaks, or things like that nowadays either...

I don't think I can quite imagine any of the band trading inane banter with Diane Sawyer unless it was Stone talking about some charitable work or Mike talking about the CCFA because those are actually newsworthy items.

Then again... I think I'd like to see Boom punch Sam Donaldson in the face unprovoked, grab Sawyer, and climb up the side of the building. Just once.

Can I change my vote to Fox & Friends?

I forgot that I saw the saddest live music performance on there one morning that I think I've ever seen. I'm not saying that the band was sad (they had their day on the top of the charts), but rather the pathetic job Fox did drumming up a crowd to watch them was sad. Really, really sad.

Watch for the Fox & Friends staffers in the crowd "rocking out" at 1:15 and 2:44, the people in the background walking by without even a glance at 2:32, the completely lackluster crowd at 2:56. I apologize in advance for bringing Brian Kilmeade into this house...

No way. That's dumb. At least Green Day tried to had fun with it. But it's kinda stupid for a real rock band to play GMA. That's for Beyonce and Whitney Houston and stuff to do. I know No Doubt did it a few weeks ago too. Here's No Doubt, now let's play songs from 15 years ago to show we're still around! Cheese.
