6 hour drive? where the fuck do you live? Uganda? ;)

actually... it might be quite close to 6 hours...
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

Lol, well we left at 4.30am and got there at 10, including a half hour stop and taking the scenic route and getting lost a couple of times :D but wow, what a fucking weekend.

The place with completely blue with some spots of red :D the munster fans were great and the craic was with them afterwards... pubs were jammed and everyone was singing. It was a fantastic atmosphere and felt like the pubs in Dublin. The match itself was no classic but the second half was tense enough. Edinburgh's a lovely city and I'll definitely have to go back and it was MUCH cheaper than I was expecting... somehow over a full day of drinking, I only managed to spend £50  ... I'm fucking knackered today.

glad you had a fun time... Rose street for drinkies was it? Edinburgh's a great pub city... unlike London... which has pub leprosy.

No Classic? what fucking match were you watching. Teams within One score of each other pretty much for the entire 80 minutes. That was a fucking great game.

Yep, Rose Street... citizen smith and then some other pub... we did about 5 pubs before the match though. Shane Byrne even walked right past us into one we were drinking in :D

Hitch, I don't mean it like that... the second half was certainly exciting and I was on the edge of my seat but I can't see it going down as one of the GREAT finals. Maybe it was different on tv? I'm certainly not complaining by any standards... was delighted to be there and very very very happy for Leinster. I was impressed by the amount of Munster fans who were there... and they were Leinster fans for the day, it was lovely. Loved the reception Geordan Murphy got when he came off.

too right! johnny sexton, jennings, rocky, and odriscoll were all immense. Nacewa aswell.
It was so tight, the backs for both sides were great. the midfield was closely fought & brutal.

What more could you want from a match? amazing stuff. the atmosphere in the pubs in dublin was nothing short of EPIC.

I can imagine... it felt like being home in Edinburgh... I think I met maybe 3 scottish people (excluding bar staff), it was brilliant. I think I'm still hungover (probably cos I drank more last night :D ). I was very surprised at how cheap it was. I was expecting Dublin prices from what I heard from everyone... but no, there was almost always change from £10 for 3 drinks so that was cool. We forgot to eat though :D so dunno what the food in Edinburgh's like yet.

This one's my fave cos it's got both sets of fans, fans from the team who DIDN'T make it to the final and a Scottish woman :D kinda sums up the atmosphere.

Hahaha... absolutely! I HAVE to go back cos we were severely time restricted with having to get my brother back to the airport yesterday so we did a speed tour of Edinburgh, almost running up and down the royal mile and taking pics whilst moving... so we could have more time in the pubs

Sexton was fantastic... although I hate to get excited after a couple of games but yeh, he's looking good. So composed!

Lol, probably met your family... I've a feeling I spoke to everybody in Edinburgh at some point over the weekend.
