Anyone hear of these songs?
Anything in Between, Wishing Well, Puzzle and Game, and Sunburn??? I have never heard of these, but I found like a sharing site with a Rarities disc with these songs...

Would you mind sharing, or would that just be overkill?....You already set me up a few times.

I dunno..... it was an early demo that leaked at one point and was taboo. I don't make the rules, I just like to hang out here.
I like to call them Lost Dogs' Lost Dogs.
PM me with any comments or suggestions for the app - or weigh in <a href="http://forums.pearljam.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=167611

I understand and respect the band's and 10C's decisions regarding this and other topics of the like, but I just don't understand what the impetus was for them to make this decision. Not trying to stir up anything. Just saying: I don't get it.
When music is not released by Pearl Jam and is "taken" from them without their ok, we don't see how it would be ok to discuss it here or link to it...kind of right in their faces, you know? It just feels wrong.
I hope that helps. When they release something...discuss away.
Both songs could have definately been interesting additons to the last few records had the band decided to give them a little bit more attention. It kind of makes you wonder what other unfinished songs, ideas, and demos of this calibre are floating around out there.
Personally, I didn't really care for the cover of "Wishing Well".
It's cool to hear Pearl Jam cover a band like FREE, but they probably picked one of the worst songs in the band's songbook to record. It's just an utterly dull and boring song all around; just complete gibberish. It says alot when even Pearl Jam can't save a song like this and make it even remotely interesting.
I don't really know how these songs managed to make it's way into our hands -Likely leaked by some linthead over @ SONY- but it was a cool little surprise none the less.
Who knows what will happen with this stuff in the future. Maybe the band is holding it for an offical release down the road -Super Duper Deluxe filler perhaps-
or
Maybe the band have no plans other than to burn the tapes, stomp them into the pavement, and toss them into the void.
This would certainly explain the foul reaction these recordings provoke within the TEN CLUB Organization.
I mean, just talking about this shit in the past was grounds enough to warrent brual and savage beatings at the hands of both KAT and SEA.
Personally, I think it is in our best interest keep any knowledge of these recordings -or anything else for that matter- tight lipped and on the down low.
Who knows what measures will be taken against the next poor bastard that decides to leak this material to the hungry masses.
Jesus!!
Sometimes I wake up in a cold sweat just thinking about this shit.
OK. This makes sense. I was under the impression (my own, btw) that since the Light Years demo was being actively considered for release on the Lost Dogs sampler that got out that they (the band) didn't have much of a problem w/ it. I was unaware of any of the prior discussions about it so the fact that it was/ is taboo was new to me. Thanks for clarifying, Kat.
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
