vs reissue

when is this happening?do we know?any ideas whats gonna be on it and what happened to alone,yellow led,footsteps et al from the ten era?

    It's gonna be bundled with Vitalogy and it's gonna be released almost a year to the date after the new album, like the rest of their supplemental releases. That'll start the hoopla for the 20th anniversary

    for some reason, i think we'll see the release of the VS reissue by the end of the year. or, at the very least, the pre-order for an early 2010 release will happen this year. just my .02.

    Well, you've got to figure... nine albums so far, based on the assumption that S/T won't be reissued, due to how recently it was released and not including Ten which obviously is already done, that leaves seven albums - six if they're not going to redo Lost Dogs. Six albums, and we know it's a two-year reissue plan, that (if you want to be literal) started when Ten was re-released, roughly March if I recall correctly. This makes me think that they would release them in equal intervals, so as to keep interest up, which could mean as early as July if they're doing this for every single album, closer to the end of the year if they're grouping two together at a time.

    Ya know they're gonna give themselves plenty of time to promote the new album. Maybe they'll all get reissued at the same time, like most bands do.

    I don't think sales of releasing all at once would be as pofitable as staggering the releases. If the re-issues include the super deluxe variety for each album, how many people could afford that many all at once? If the re-issues are just standard single CD, LP, etc. that would work out OK. Only time will tell.....

    i think its sony more than anything, which is why the re-releases will only go up through riot act. here's hoping the band continues to stay involved to make the releases worth getting, but that they stop releasing partial shows in the packages... :?
