    they are separate. live nation is an event promoter and ticketmaster is a ticketing agency.
    I'll scream my lungs out...'til I fill this thread!

    I remember seeing an article online months ago that indicated that Ticketmaster and Live Nation weren't on very friendly terms. In fact, Live Nation was looking to get into the ticketing game and cash in on the fees that otherwise are earned by Ticketmaster.
