Yeahh I wasn't a fan of the random chapters where the author talked about his own travels.

Oh, don't worry. I know tons of people who think the same thing. Even someone I know who was close to Chris thought the same thing. Actually, when I recommend the book to people, I tell them to skip that chapter.

I have to disagree the book was great, and the movie left out so much like the part about the bridge, that he could have used to cross the stream.
