I have come up to Toronto several times from the Buffalo side. This will be my first time traveling from Toronto to Chicago.

Does anyone happen to have any suggestions for sights to see along the way?

Will you be going through Port Huron, Michigan and then down to Indiana over to Chicago? Is that your route?

You could hit Indiana Dunes State Park on the way. It is a unique area pretty close to chicago. Also the area around New Buffalo on the Michigan Indiana border has some things to offer. Do a search on these areas it would be a great time to visit them in august. If not Chicago has tons to do in the summer.

Yeah but it's also the most God awful boring route to take. Coming from someone who lived in Detroit and made the drive to both Chicago and TO to see PJ, it's the worst. My wife would tell you there's an outlet mall in Michigan City, Indiana...that's a worthwhile stop, but past that nada.

i find the drive from Toronto to Chicago more entertaining than the drive from Toronto to NYC - i suppose the constant change of scenery helps quite a bit,...

it was awesome... though I'm not too fond of the set up in that place (how the entrance to the room is in the front... cause for a lot of pushing and a fight even)

i'll be back that way in July for Xavier Rudd shows... hopefully with a friend though!

you came up here solo for the Ben Harper show?

it's funny, i always found it easier to slide right back up front of the crowd at that venue, mind you i could get away with it but i've taken a good hit or two over the years there as well during shows hehe ;)
