Who's going to give it a go??

I think I'll try...but I've never painted before, so it'll be a challenge.

I've already sketched out some ideas!

    i wish it wasnt limited to acrylic/oil paints

    Once I get my copy...I am looking forward to seeing this contest! I think I will enter...I know an artist who should enter as well...he is a HUGE PJ fan!

    I know...very small. But I guess that saves us money on shipping, and saves them the space that all those painting could take up.

    Yeah, that was my thought too. I wish they would accept a good digital photo of a larger piece as a submission, and have the finalist pieces sent in. I'm an oil painter, and I rarely ever use a canvas that small because you can't get detail out of it. I tend to stick to 12" x 16" to 18" x 24".

    Most of Howard Pyle's paintings were about that size, and he's considered the father of American Illustration, so things worked out for him.:)

    yes... but I am not him....yet I did finish three paintings today...

    well, you won't be him with that attitude :D
