How many Pearl Jam fans are going to this game? Not being from Chicago am I better off trying to get tickets through ticketbastard or are there some good tickets being sold on the street before gameday?

Tickets shouldn't be too hard to get. Get there early enough and you should be able to by tickets at the box office. Its a Sunday game, right? It might sell out or you might not get the best seats, but you can always get tickets from a scalper as a last resort. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

    Just order them from whitesox.com

I'd like to go to the game that day, but money will be tight this summer. My plan is to just get day of game tickets if I can make it work.

first off, you'd be better off going to the game on the 22nd (night game) or the 24th (day game) the 23rd is a night game and it's a pearl Jam show night.

second, do you get a blow job when you enter the stadium? 24.00 for the cheap seats?!

umm....no thanks. see you at the museum of natural history everyone.

Not a Sox fan at all but it is a good place to watch a ball game. And you can get tickets for 9.50 and the game on the 23rd starts at 1:05. But enjoy the museum

I'm not sure where you are looking, but the game on Sunday (23rd) is a 1:05 start. And I'm pretty sure you can find cheaper tickets than that. But if the Sox are playing the same way in August as they are now, it would be hard to pay anything to watch them if you aren't a fan.

Also, basic admission to the Field Museum is gonna run you like $15, and it's extra for the special exhibits. Hard to find a good deal these days.

I will be treating my favorite Aunt to a White Sox/PJ doubleheader. Got my 8th row on deck circle seats for the game and my 10C tickets for the show! I can't wait...

Try Craigslist, the Sox arent looking too good this year, if they are basically out of contention by this date, you will be able to get great seats for face (or lower)... they also release tickets the morning of the game, so go get your 10C tickets at the UC and head straight over to the Cell to check out what the box office has. There are also plenty of people looking to get rid of tickets around the ballpark. I dont suggest paying face for any upper level seats, unless the are first few rows in the infield. Upper Deck sucks!

I'm pondering this. Like many, money is tight. If there is a large PJ group, maybe we can do group tickets. Seats would probably be shitty at this point.

Tickets are $38 plus service fees for Lower Reserve. Section 107, Row 19. I did a search for 10 tickets if we were to get a group together.

I'd avoid section 107, you would be behind the foul pole.
