When i first picked up the guitar 14 years ago, it would be fair to say that i was influenced by mike mccready. I love me some Mike. As the years have rolled on though, if i could chose to be any member of pearl jam, it would be Stone Gossard.

Seriously, how underrated is this guy. He is just so damn creative. One of the best riff writers ever. I adore his style. Riff-meister extraordinaire Gossard, i salute you.

    I agree...the riff's that Stone wrote are what attracted me to PJ in the first place. When I heard the riff to Alive for the first time, my world was forever changed.

    pretty tough to beat. first 2 are legend. the next 3 are fairly untouchable as well. in hiding and htw are personal faves :)

    Agreed on everything said so far, but I think I'd rather be Matt. That's mainly because I'm a drummer and I play to PJ's catalog all the time.
