    OMG I watched it too.
    Pissed me off...they coulda just had George leave to go to Iraq and leave it at that. They didn't have to kill him too! (or so they are having us believe). That just smells of sour grapes on the creators part over his leaving the show.
    Not surprised about Izzy since Katherine Heigl is leaving the show. That was the quickest way to write her off since she wasn't staying with the show long enough for them to have done a storyline with her surviving.

    i dont think the katherine heigl thing is decided yet. seems george is dead though....i think the "cliffhanger" is whether izzie chooses to get off the elevator with him.

    Yeah that's kind of what it seems like...

    Never saw it coming that it was George, I was watching with a couple of my girlfriends and we totally freaked out.
    Boy looks damn fine in the army uniform though...

    I had heard a while back that T.R. Knight was leaving the show so I just figured he'd leave for the Army & that'd be it - totally did not expect what they did w/him dying

    and is it just me or did there seem to me more commercial breaks than usual ?

    I thought the finale was disappointing. You already knew that both Izzie and George were leaving. At least they shocked you with Jon Doe being George.

    Yeah, there were tons of commercials but I didn't notice it until reading it on here b/c at every commercial break I was flipping it over to the Red Wings game.
