Pearl Jam's Punk Roots Come Alive at the Crocodile! Free Tix With CD Purchase!
Deranged Diction (pre-Pearl Jam) Ticket Giveaway!!

Before Pearl Jam, before Mother Love Bone, before Green River, there was Deranged Diction. Formed by Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament and Press Corps/Love Battery/Mother Love Bone/Green River guitarist Bruce Fairweather in 1981, Deranged Diction was Montana's first hardcore band. Jeff, Bruce, and drummer Sergio Avenia moved to Seattle in 1983 and found Rod Moody, who became the band's third singer. This lineup wrote several songs, played many shows, but never recorded. In 2008, Jeff and Rod ran into each other at Easy Street and made a plan to get the band together and record their unreleased songs. Jeff also remixed the original lineup's sole cassette release.
The two-disc set, titled No Art, No Cowboys, No Rules/Life Support just came out this week, and the band is playing one of only two reunion shows this Friday at the Crocodile. And have we got a deal for you: Buy a copy of the new Diction CD at either Easy Street store or from Easy Street Online, and you get TWO free passes to the show! Offer good while supplies last. Big props to the Croc for offering this amazing deal!
