Canadian Federal Election?

So I'm watching the baseball game and during one of the commercials I see an ad slandering the liberal parties leader. Back in the fall when I first saw these ads start popping Harper called for a federal election. Is there any chance that he could be planning on calling another one or are the Conservatives just throwing away their money on pointless ads?

    I saw the same ad today blasting Ignatieff for not committing to Canada full time. I had the same thought. There's gotta be an election call coming soon.

    don't expect one soon ... liberals have said they aren't going to pander to the conservatives to avoid an election ... cons are doing what they do best ... manipulate public opinion ...
