    I'm in - I already offered to bribe the guys with beignets and hand grenades (the drink... not, you know, the weapon, which I imagine doesn't taste anywhere near as good) if they come. They can even crash at my place if they want - who can turn down an offer like that?

    Seriously... it's been nine years since they last played here... a NOLA show is a weeeeeeee bit overdue
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

    You're right, I totally missed that one... six years then. The bribe offer still stands though lol

    On a slight personal tangent, does anyone know why some of the older shows don't come up when you try and enter shows you have attended in your profile? I'm a newbie here and haven't figured out why it won't let me add the Auckland shows from the Vitalogy tour, even though they are listed on the tour page.
    And I listen for the voice inside my head... nothing. I'll do this one myself.

    I think they're still working out some bugs on here- like the edit signature feature

    A New Orleans show would be great. Especially if it is say the weekend after ACL since I already have plans to be there to attend the UF/LSU game in Baton Rouge.

    I think anyone would be down for a Pearl Jam show in any city that hasn't seen one in awhile. I live in Florida now but if anywhere I think the people who have the most to say should be in Seattle as it seems they have been forgotten by the band. I used to live there and it was great knowing that they would always be playing some shows there.

    The only place that is likely to get a show this fall that I would make a priority over New Orleans is Santa Barbara. Hopefully I will see them in both places this fall :mrgreen:

    Holy shit you just made me giddy at the thought. For some reason I hadn't even had NOLA on my radar but what a crazy freaking time that would be. Went to the 95 show there and I still haven't recovered from it. I am now so excited at even the most remote possibility.

    I grew up in a small town in North Louisiana and literally EVERYONE I knew was at that Tad Gormley show.. Killer!! Would LOVE to see this released with the Vitalogy Re-Issue.. Forget Soldier Field.. Give.us Tad Gormley!!

    That sounds like the best idea I've read on here in a long time! This city really needs something to pick it up, and PJ would be a great choice for it. The fact that half the city still has yet to be rebuilt from Katrina, that the local economy is tanking at a record pace (even when compared to the rest of the nation), and a recent crime report claimed that living in New Orleans is more dangerous than Baghdad, rocking out with Ed and the boys would make everything alright, if only for one night.
