loved how they opened with why go at lolla in 07... although i would love to hear them with of the girl again.

heard em open with hard to imagine like 7 times already, so i could do w/o that one
it's largely due to eddie that i liked to jump off of things as a child...

    It's gotta be "Release."
    -- 1996: "Release"
    -- 2000: "Sometimes"
    -- 2003: "Release"
    -- 2005: "Release"
    -- 2006: "Severed Hand," "Release"

And that 2003 version of "Release" was supreme. Having said that, I'd be down with "Long Road" too.

leave Oceans for the venue where it just makes the most sense... the United Center.

Sure its a stretch... but I need it. :)

thus far i've had sometimes, release, long road, wash, release, release & severed hand.

i think that if we follow this pattern, my next three shows will open with release.

i'd love a full-band can't keep since i've only gotten an ed-solo version, but oceans or of the girl would also be great. i think comatose would be the ultimate opener for this show though.

Of the Girl would be amazing.

    My guess though: Corduroy

My all-time favourite song and I've never seen it live. I do love Release, but I've seen them open with Release 3 times already. I'm telling you, never missing them play Boston again... they always seem to play it there.

If I can put in a request for the closing of the show...

i love both release and long road as an opener ... and would be more than happy with either ...

but if i could hear oceans - it would be my choice ... i know we're not on an actual ocean but the venue is right on the lake and the last time eddie was here ... he took his long board out for a paddle around the islands ...
