Jeff Ament designs a poster for the Melvins

I though this was interesting to pass on and FYI the set is currently on sale at the secretserpentsstore.com


We invited a few new posters artists to get involved with the Melvins 25th Anniversary tour series that you may have heard of before. Adam Jones from Tool is handling the New York poster, Jeff Ament from Green River (and Pearl Jam) is handling one of the two Seattle posters, and Buzz Osborne from the Melvins is handling the other Seattle poster himself. We are also doing a presale for the upcoming Melvins 25th Anniversary Tour set for these three artists. All copies of these posters are being brought to sell at the shows, so the presale will be the only way to guarantee the posters. If they sell out at the show, they are gone for good (and won't be available on the site). The presale ends this Friday (May 15th, 2009).

They told me at expresso beans site that they will be selling them at the show. Cant wait to get that one it is sweet!!!!!!!

Each set will include

1 - Melvins / Webster Hall - NYC by Adam Jones (from Tool)
1 - Melvins / Showbox - Seattle by Jeff Ament (from Green River and Pearl Jam)
1 - Melvins / Showbox - Seattle by Buzz Osborne (from the Melvins)

Poster will mail shortly after the Seattle shows. There will only be a limited number of sets made available. The entire edition will be sold at the show, so this may be the only way to guarantee a set.

i would also recommend emailing secret serpent's, just to see the status on the posters. if any were to show up on the website!

Wrongly Accused

If there are any kind souls going to the Seattle Melvins/Green River shows tonight or tomorrow, please forgive my grovel for one of the Jeff Posters...I need help! I can send money by paypal, trade for a poster I have, anything you like. I really want to try and add this one to my collection though. I have a bunch of mint PJ losts dogs coasters too I will throw in, that were a promo item when the record came out... Any help would be MUCHO appreciated. just tell me what i gotta do
