Great idea but I would rather see a special secret set of shows done for all the 10c members.

I have only just joined so exclude me if you wish lol.

Say 5000 people per show. 100 shows. I imagine it would be about 75 usa, 5 Aus, 4 South America, 6 Europe and 10 massive gigs. 2 Wembley Stadium, 2 in Italy, 2 in Aus, 2 MSG and then 2 in Seattle. Everyone gets to see them a few times. No Ticketmaster. No touts.

    JUST 10C MEMBERS

Sounds great except for one thing: NO PROFIT.
5,000 ppl/show would not bring the kind of cash these guys plug in for... I'm just sayin...

Not to mention the days of 100 shows in one shot is not part of the "mature" pearl jam agenda. Totally understand why, just saying that isn't going to happen ever again I don't think.

    double negative reverse jinx!

*cough* ...this would be SO awesome. Seriously... charge $200 a ticket, and I'll pay, and the extra money will make it worth the trouble to call Dave up on the phone... *cough*

What would you all say to two festivals celebrating Pearl Jam's 20th Anniversary in late Summer 2010? One in the East Coast, one in the West Coast.

3 days in a field in each location.
A main stage, and a second stage.

    Great additional acts like:
    -Neil Young & Crazy Horse
    -Soundgarden
    -QOTSA
    -Ben Harper
    -Mudhoney

Plus all former members invited back to participate in songs they wrote, as well as to feature their current bands on a second stage. And they could arrange this around any kids being born, since it's only four days total of show days. (p.s. yes this is similar to my 4/1 poster)

Plenty of people will say "It'll never happen" or "this isn't in my location" or "I don't like Dave A" ...yada, yada.

I'm asking is for a "thumbs up" or a "thumbs down". Add whatever opinion you want. Lots of opinions on the board... but please include a thumbs up or down on this idea as is. :)

Here's an image link to thumbs up:

    and to thumbs down:

my vote = THUMBS UP :)

    ...what say you?

EDIT - I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT ALBUMS WILL BE PLAYED IN ORDER, THREE ALBUMS PER SHOW:

Three albums per night of the festival.

    NIGHT 1:
    TEN (with Krusen)
    VS (with Abbruzzese)
    Vitalogy (with Abbruzzese)

-plus rarities from that era for the encore
-Krusen, Irons and Cameon join in on additional percussion during WMA

    NIGHT 2:

    NO CODE (with Irons)
    YIELD (with Irons)
    BINAURAL (with Cameron)

-plus rarities from that era for the encore

    NIGHT 3:
    RIOT ACT (with Cameron)
    AVOCADO (with Cameron)
    BACKSPACER (with Cameron)

-plus rarities from that era for the encore
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)
