Pearl Jam's "Alive" referenced on Hockey Night in Canada

Ron McLean, HNIC presenter, quoted the lyrics to Alive in reference to the Vancouver Canucks potential for elimination from the Stanley Cup finals tonight.

It was kinda funny :D and very cool 8-)

    It was a little weird but when the camera panned the United Centre I thought it seemed fitting. Looking forward to August. Go Hawks... lesser of two evils in this Flames fan's world. Yes... sour grapes and unpatriotic.

    However, the second part of your paragraph leaves a lot to be desired ;) :roll: :evil:

    I'm pretty confused & sad that Nova Scotia, the birth place of hockey, doesn't even have an NHL team. :?
