How many PearlJam shows are you planning on attending in 09?

I know there are a few PJ junkies on this board that travel to see multiple shows on each tour. I was curious to get a thread going with shows members are attending in 2009 and where they are traveling from.

So far I am booked to travel from Phoenix to both nights in Chicago, San Francisco Outside Lands, and Austin, TX ACL. If they hit the west coast in the fall then I will use my second week of vacation to travel another 9 day stretch of the tour. Everybody I know these days thinks I am crazy when I tell them I am off to another city to see....Pearl Jam.

    Nice I'm assume that your are hitting the 4 Europe shows....I almost pulled the trigger on going to Europe for the 4 shows but I decided to wait until the next Europe tour when they hit cities I would really want to travel to. I could not justify spending $3000 for Rotterdam, Berlin, Manchester and London adventure. Don't get me wrong, I am sure the shows will be kick ass in Europe!

    2, may decide the other 2 nearer the time when I know what I'm doing jobwise and where I'll be. On the other hand at the rate transport costs go up I doubt I can make the other 2, will see.

    I'm happy with 2 seeing as Europes bound to have another tour in the next 18 months anyway. As long as I know I'm not waiting years I'm happy.

    Im doing Manchester and London, Sadly I cant get anymore time off work, stupid brother getting married. I could have gone to ?Berlin but for him. I hates them precious hates them.

    Yes, i hope its the same thing as the 07 tour where they arn't supporting an album so they might play some even more obscure things. As if Bee Girl last year wasn't rare enough!

    Still need tickets for holland and belgium, didn't bother buying them as i wasn't 100% set on the idea.

    depends on the remaining dates, but I'm hoping for either a New Orleans show around ACL or maybe a 2-3 multiple show in the same city on the west coast like they did back in 06 in San Fran

    We though about ACL but then we wanted to go to Flight to Mars so we had to pick, and picked FTM.

    Very hard for me to say without knowing the remaining US tour dates. As of now I am seeing 3 shows (Toronto & both Chicago shows) but that could end up being 5 or it could be as many as 8 or 9 ... all depends ...

    3 EV shows, both Philly & 1 Baltimore.
    6 PJ shows, Berlin, Manchester, London, both Chicago, & ACL.
    I hope I also get to add Seattle, and a couple more west coast shows on this list, that would make for an amazing year!

    I don't know about PJ shows yet since the west coast dates have not been announced. I hope to travel out west for a few shows...hopefully there are a few shows in a general area that will make travel easy.

    Right now 2 - SF and TO & EV - Philly 2. Would love to do Europe and ACL, unfortunately my budget doesn't stretch that far :(

    Cost of flights and hotel factor into this too.... Damn travel expenses! And if I don't end up walking out of this job today!!!

    So far I'll be going to the 2 in Chicago :D . Waiting for the west coast announcement but would like to see 1-2 in LA while visiting a great friend ( we're celebrating or 50th) then maybe head to San Diego & visit my cousin. If they play in Denver I'll be there also, maybe skip S.D.. Red Rocks would be beautiful ;) !

    Just Chicago I for me. Pulled the trigger a little early on travel plans before they announced Night II. But it's probably for the better since my wife and son are traveling with me. Have a good friend in Chicago who is taking the boy the night of the concert. Too bad cause I can't wait till the day I can take him to a show.
