Gig Poster Cloakroom Idea

I have a poster for the 3 pearl jam gigs i've been to, but only one was purchased at the gig...Wembley 07..thats because i had seated tickets so i could take care of my poster

i think (unless it exists and im being blind) there should be some kind of poster save/cloakroom service for poster for fans...where you pay a few more pennies, take a numbered ticket and come and pick it up after the show

I really want to get a poster again at manchester in august but not if its gonna get battered to death while im enjoying the show

Its maybe a daft idea cos i know the merchandisers generally pack up after the show starts but i can only be creative and dream :)

    In Adelaide (Australia) during the 2006 tour, we had a merch room, where you would be provided with a plastic bag if you wanted to wrap the poster up, slap an elastic band around it and put it in the merch room. You get your ticket with the number etc, and there were no problems.
    Stars walk the red carpet because they're famous - I walk the toilet paper because im the shit.

    i just bring a poster tube to EVERY SHOW I HAVE BEEN to..32 nationwide....they make you open it before you go in to make sure you have nothing in it

    bring a poster tube?....good idea :) i was thinkin it but thought it might be consvicated...but hey yeah..you can't really beat shit out of anyone with it can you

    the only time they will take it ...is when you first get in.....plus its only 2-5 bucks...so if they take it who cares.... and like i said nobody has ever stopped me or took it away...

    have you seen the ones Brad sends out...they have like 1/4 inch think walls...... you could kill a small child with one of them

    They confiscated them on the last Oz tour. Something about projectile weapons?! I'm bringing it to protect my posters, why would i throw it away?

    They use a wristband system now, you dont really need to bring a tube anymore. You get a wristband at the merch stand when you buy the poster and you get it at the end of the show.
