super deluxe mothers day brag!

I just wanted to have a brag to somebody that might be impressed! It is Mother's day here... in Australia today and my wonderful family got me the super deluxe ten set. I initially did not buy it as I was not working and we really did not have the $$$$$ but now I am back working and suprise I got the set from my Pearl Jam hating husband!

The only thing I culd not believe was the price... He got it from JB HIfi and the retail was oz$$$ 470. I like it but that is a lot of money anyway I did not tell him that as it impressed the shit out of me that he actually went out and got it after telling me it was worthless??? He has even promised to sit through some of it without complaining!!!!

Oh well just my little brag.....

    :lol: He is good besides the fact he has no taste in music. We agree on very few bands and both love music so it does cause a bit of friction!! Even when we like the same band it is rarely the same song!!

    He loves NAshville Pussy ... he barely tolerates Pearl Jam and believe me he hears it all the time. Says they take themselves too seriously.... This is why the gift was such a suprise.

    Thanks, this thread reminded me that tomorrow is mothers day and that I still haven't gotten a present for my mom.

    why anybody would pay the aussie retail price is beyond me when they can get it from Amazon like i dod for less than half the price.
