yeah. this sucks.
but i got 4 tix via that phone at about 210pm i would guess. got nowhere with massive refreshing online. im pretty sure i got lawns based on the charged price. sigh. hope it doesnt rain. hope everyone will be sharing their smokey smokeys. lol.
tried getting a pair after the 4 and i got through on the phone and it said there were none around. frustrating. i guess this is what happens when PJ do a one-off show in this part of the world. on the positive side, it will be nice bringing some of my non-pj friends to a concert for once, although hanging with pj fans in the first few rows will never get old either.

check back every now and then. from my experiences with TM they seem to dump pretty good tickets the morning of the show as well as random mornings between now and then
I hope I am wrong, but I just don't see where they could fit one in.
They play in Europe on the 18th, and the Toronto show is the 21st. A second show would have to be on the 20th because of Chicago. If they do that, it means they have only one off-day after flying across the Atlantic with a 6 hour time change ... I think that is highly unlikely. But I would love to see it

I'm shit outta luck :( I hate the sleepless nights that will be born of this sell out.
i'm gonna guess that you're not gonna be happy with my comment, however ticketsnow.com has lawn tix for 97 bux. section 400 for $110-ish and 300 starting at $177. how bad do you want to go?
so, in short... you can still go to this show, and still get seats that don't super-suck. that crappy site has 400 tix for sale right now. "399 tickets available from $97 to $696 each." 696 for section 301 row L.

how do these people sleep at night?
Don't cave. Wait until closer to the date, and things will happen. I'm kind of a believer of "fate", even for things as mundane as Pearl Jam shows... for the Eddie show in Albany night one, I lost the lottery, and was totally bummed, but decided that it just wasn't meant to be. Then, after my last exam this year, I came back to my room to see that I was one of the people who was selected in the second lottery of returned ticket pairs.
The point is - keep positive about it, and don't cave to those scalper fucks!

Don't buy on Ticketsnow - at least not yet. The prices are inflated right after a sell-out to cash in on the people who panic and are still desparate for tickets. The prices will go down closer to the show date....
And I've mentioned it before, but for those who have never been to the Molson Amphitheatre:
In my opinion, lawn tickets are still great seats. In some ways, they are even better than reserved seats, 'cause you have the open sky above you, and you can see over the stage to all the lights in the midway of the CNE... A great way to experience a summer concert, in my opinion....

I know, I know... But if PJ had announced they were doing a show at Downsview, or Centre Island or BMO Field everyone would have been ecstatic, even though everyone would be uncovered and at risk of getting soaked....

As many have already posted, just be patient and wait. I missed out on TM tix originally in 2005 and 2006 at the ACC... in both cases, I got great 100 level seats on the day of the show through TM. They always release seats as it gets closer to the show, you just have to keep checking back. I got tix to U2 at Giant Stadium about 2 weeks after they were "sold out"... you will get there Either that or someone here will have spares.
Glaciers melting in the dead of night and the superstars sucked into the supermassive.
What really gets me is that within moments of the ticketmaster sell out there are like a dozen ne listings on ebay already to sell those tickets.... F'ing sleezy bastards.
One day something needs to be done about this. It drives me absolutely bonkers. The fuck of it is... it's a consumer driven market. So long as people are willing to pay 4x more than face value, people will still sell them to make profit.
I was thinking the other day.... they should create some method of registering users that are attending a concert in order to validate the tickets.
For instance. You purchase tickets on June 01 for a Sept 01 show. Ticketmaster gives a due date of August 15 to validate the tickets with users. And only the credit card holder or register buyer of the tickets would be able to add users to the ticket.
Just a thought. But something needs to change. But there again, that's one thing I love about the Ten Club. At least I know I will be amongst all of my brethren at any given Pearl Jam show.
