In Toronto? Why not Montreal?!

PJ played 3 times (including this summer) in Toronto without a stop in Montreal and I find it really sad. It seems that Pearl Jam always played great shows in the Bell Centre and I certainly wouldn't mind seeing them in Montreal again. And the hell with it, they should play at the Parc Jean-Drapeau. The last three times I saw Radiohead overthere we just amazing shows. I'm pretty sure that Pearl Jam can pull it off.

Anyway, will be in Toronto anyway...! I got sucked in!!!

One thing that Pearl Jam have made a point of doing in recent years is playing places they LOVE and places they want to play. They love Toronto and went out of their way to open the Avocado tour here. They had a week in between Europe and San Fran and chose 2 places they love - Toronto and Chicago.

Montreal will get a show on the next full tour, for sure.

And D, I hope Halifax gets one too!

    :)

If they can play atleast 1 show in Atlantic Canada; doesn't have to be Nova Scotia, or Newfoundland which they have already played. But New Brunswick & P.E.I. has never been experienced. Hopefully next full blown tour, Atlantic Canada get's some of that passion!

I would be up for that!

I just hope that on the next full tour we see more than just the 3 typical Canadian show.

You`re right BeerBaron, they surely have a little something for Toronto!!!

I just meant to say that they were always delivering a great show when they were in Montreal (except for maybe 2000 when Stone had technical problems on its end). And there's always a little something in the crowd. Always loved to see shows in Montreal, more than anywhere else.

But I also know that everyone would like to see them in their own town. My thing is that even if I'm from Montreal, I now live in Ottawa. But between driving to MTL or Toronto, I'd rather MTL!!!

I'm certainly excited to see them at the Molson Amp 'cause the last two shows I've seen at the ACC (2005, night 2 in 2006) were not that great, really... especially when Bono came on stage in 05 and just ruined "Rockin in the Free World" at the end!!!

Maybe next tour for Montreal. And like you mentionned, hopefully more cities than the usual "big three" (MTL, TO and Vancouver).

The only 3 cities the bands know when touring to Canada. Which is pretty much sad.
