I'm at lost as to why these seemingly educated congressional people and other leading republicans, fall into an idiot two-step dance when Limbaugh speaks.
SIN EATERS--We take the moral excrement we find in this equation and we bury it down deep inside of us so that the rest of our case can stay pure. That is the job. We are morally indefensible and absolutely necessary.

I think that he has enough of their "base" listening to everything he says like it's some sort of gospel, so they are petrified that he'll turn on them... It's kind of disturbing.

Thank you for helping me connect the dots. The one thing the Bush administration excelled at was media diversion. Keep people talking about God, guns and gays while they do what they want. What do they want, well of course, Jeb Bush to replace Mel Martinez as Senator in Florida in 2010. This so-called tour is nothing more than a national coming out party for Jeb Bush so they don't repeat the same mistake they did with Palin. Good ole Eric Cantor knows better than to cross Bush, Sr. and when he does, Rush Limbaugh is there, not as the voice for the people of the base, but for the power and money of the GOP.

Just like Spector's cross-over was a setup. Spector's a republican, it’s in his blood, that is why he agreed to cross-over for the good of the GOP. The GOP knew Justice Souter was going to retire and that anyone President Obama picks won't change the balance of the conservative court. Spector's cross-over, however, allowed Sessions to take over as the head the judiciary committee and will have the power to end any and all torture investigations by Congress because he can open a committee review, subpoena all torture-related documents and keep them secret, 2) he will be instrumental in the States redistricting laws, 3) voting rights laws and 4) immigration laws, for his own pleasure, 4) everytime Eric Holder sneezes, he'll call his ass to the Hill for an explanation.
