My guess is that there are only a small amount of tix left for Bulls season ticket holders and the public. In other words, this will be an impossible ticket to get. Think U2 Zoo TV indoor show in 1992 at Boston, St. Patrick's Day. This is gonna be that kind of insanely hard ticket to get. Mark my words. Especially because everyone knows they will be doing WMA/Immortality/Grievance and BU$HLEAGUER especially for Chi-Town! :o

    ^It's all guessing.

And why are you guaranteeing those songs will be played in Chicago? Why Bushleaguer? Why not really push for some kick ass tunes that NEVER get played.

Yeah but that doesn’t mean this a mostly 10C show, unless something changed and we never noticed, 10C only gets a small percentage of tkts for the fanclub, and its not like a crazy percentage either, in between season tkt holders and ticketmaster they will outnumber the 10C seating by a whole lotta seats.

Why are you sure they are playing those songs?, I mean I wouldn’t be surprised about WMA and its not the big of a deal either since they played a few times on 2008. I was under the impression that Ed puts together the setlist right before the show, Jeff mentioned that on an interview, it’s hard to believe that they are already making setlists 4 months ahead of time.
I’m not saying your are lying I’m just saying that I find it unlikely that the band is planning on what they are going to do at the show so much in advance IMO

For certain shows the 10C allocation is huge. For example, MSG1 in 2003. About 50% of the arena was 10C. Look for a huge 10C turnout for Chicago 8/23/09. The band is NOT SCREWING AROUND, this is Ed's home turf, they hand-picked the city out of love for the hardcore PJ devotion locally, so you can bank on it: 40 songs minimum.

The only way thats possible is if they are their own opening band. I'm going to this show and want nothing more than 40 songs, but come on...

No way they play 40 songs unless they do a preset ala Boston3.

I think both the Toronto and Chicago shows have the chance to be really special. It does seem lik ethey had more 10c tickets alloted for these shows than they did in 2006 and 2008.

It is definitely not huge, TM put a limit on all fan club allocation years ago.
The 2003 show was an exception which was actually announced by the 10C as an exception and something special, the demand was so great that they were able to work something out with TM where they could accommodate all the fans that requested the show hence the great amount of tkts given to fanclub members, this is not the case for all shows.

Like I said before (I don’t work for 10C or TM) the allocation for 10C is not that big it may be big but they do not have more tkts than ticketmaster and season tkt holders combined, unless things have changed and the 10C can sell as many as half of the arena.

It does seem that way, and I don't think they have allowed ALL 10clubbers to buy tix, regardless of join date. Having said that, it could very well be other things makin this show sell out a little slower than normal.

This I have no doubt about these shows are going to be great! I can’t wait, I’m really looking forward to it.

Going by how long those shows took to sell out it seems that they had more tkts than before, but I still done think the arena is going to be mostly 10C members

I agree, I think there will still be a lot of ticketmaster seats etc, but I am happy if there are more 10c seats available now than the last few years.

Yep I think it was 2004 that the 8-10% rule (depending on artist) limiting the number of tickets fan clubs can get was imposed by ticketmaster. So the days of huge 10 Club crowds are over.

Doesn't the fact that they haven't even mentioned the possibility of a 2nd show mean there won't be one?

If they add one, I hope it's the day before.

I'm not holding my breath for a 2nd show, but if there was one - it's highly doubtful it would be on Saturday because they haven't played 3 days in a row in a long time.
