    There are not a whole lot of hotels right around the UC. I would just book anything in the loop or N. Michigan Area. Depending on the weather and where exactly you are, it's an easy walk or cab ride to the UC. And that way you can expereince more of downtown Chicago shopping, restaurants, nightlife, etc.
