Wishlist Pre-party for Toronto?

Just wondering whether anything is in the works for a pre-party in Toronto this time around. Obviously the Molson Amp is not the ideal location for a get-together within walking distance of the venue. I know the Ontario Place location is a pain in the ass for this sort of thing, but I was just curious as to whether there's been any thought put into this yet? I see Chicago's already got a thread started.

    Haven't been to the Amphitheatre before...is there a bar at Ontario Place somewhere? There must be!!

    Maybe we could take over Meideval Times lol

    There must be something we can come up with here people

    I was just searching online...closets one I found to Molson Amp is Brazen Head Irish Pub
    I have never been there so I cant say if its good or not. Website looks pretty decent.

    Im from T.O and I really dont think there is any bars that are really close. This bar is probably a good 20 minute walk or so.

    There is a place called Jollys on Dufferin St and it is a 5 minute walk to the venue. They have a patio and the place usually isn't to busy. It's fairly new so they don't have a website yet but here is some info. For those of you who know Toronto it is located just up th e street from Medieval Times.

    and aside from Jollys there is also Shoeless Joes and the Brazen Head Irish Pub in Liberty Village. Both are also a short walk to the show

    the wheat sheaf is a pretty cool place with a great patio. it's about a 20 min walk to the venue. that would an ideal bar in my opinion.

    Also coming from Ottawa, but the family lives near Toronto so I grew up there. I think I've talked to you on here before, about the Cornell show in November maybe??

    Brazen Head is a really cool bar. You guys should organize your shindig there.

    We got at least a car load coming from Ottawa, possibly more depending on how many friends get tix through the public on-sale.

    I am thinking the Brazen Head in Liberty Village before the show... it has 3 patios and if it is a nice day it is super sweet... and 15 min walk to the Molson Amp after:

    the Loose Moose wouldn't work, it's just too far away from the venue to make it worthwhile so i'm sure Demetrios would appreciate some good suggestions closer to the venue,...

    Nixon in Detroit & Demetrios are heading up the Toronto party, though both can't post at the moment (for technical/ban reasons).

    Tailgate parties are very hard to arrange because it must be set up through the venue itself and they are psycho about our liability insurance, what we can do, etc., so they are generally not worth the hassle of doing it.
