KOL? or are they too big now? Seems like they picked up MMJ when they were already big.

KOL are on tour at that time, they are playing the West Coast at the end of August and then off to Europe , I saw them last night and they were SO AWESOME!!!

A great band would be the Silversun Pickups. They are from LA, have this great new song Panic Switch.

Their first two albums are REALLY good. This would be AWESOME.

    Lads, Ladies..2 things..

U2's manager is called Paul mcGuinnes..he also manages a guy called Paddy Casey, who, in 06, supported Pj in Dublin(of all places  ) and why? 'cos guess who then supported U2 in Hawaii later that year? our very own Pj..back scratching bedhopping rock n roll..get used to it..

now...Gaslight anthem/The hold steady..boring bad bland banal Bruce Springsteen wannabes who, to their credit, aspire to the lofty and unattainable powers and energies the Boss eminates, but sadly(aka happily) they will never achieve..get OVER these two bands..they are both RUUUUUBISH!!

Go check out a Bruce album/gig/anything and watch their names melt away from your memory..you'll be embarassed you ever mentioned them...seriously...

ps..is anyone else f****n BORED TO DEATH of Kings Of leon??? i sure am.

I don't understand. Are you comparing Paddy Casey opening for PJ to PJ opening for U2. I would say PJ did 2 favors for Mr McGuiness.

As for other tour options.... TMV??? Mastodon?? Those guys would both blow PJ off the stage and have their(PJ's) fans bored to tears. I don't think either of those is something an opening band is supposed to do.
