    I just wanted to take a second to thank management for making this announcement.

    Announcing the shows in two or three date clusters initially was a good business decision, but was one tour away from being a brutally obvious abuse of their best customers.

    I heard something aboud EV with or without PJ playing at San Diego Street Scene. Only heard it second hand and it sounds too good to be true. Any info?

    i dont think they would play that. when is it anyway end of september?

    isnt street scene in san diego, usualy mostly punk bands headlining it in past years like pennyw ise, nofx etc?

    Street Scene is in San Diego Aug 28-29. Some of the same bands performing in the Outlands (name?) concert in San Francisco including Modest Mouse and Black-eyed Peas (for the record, not one of my favs) are scheduled for Street Scene. Some chatter that other bands would float from the SF gig to Street Scene. Since Ed has family here in San Diego county, it may not be too far-fetched that he might show for Street Scene. The lineup is on the website:

    I would probably lose my job and not give a damn if they were comming to GM place in Vancouver. I mean I wouldnt care if they said your fired if your not at work those days. I think theres enough people that agree with that thought.

    Ed popped up at street scene a few years ago during REM's set. I don't see PJ (or Ed) being added to the bill though. No way you'd get a solo show at an outdoor festival when all he's been playing are theaters. I'd think the audience would be pretty rough.

    Does anyone know why the 10c says we cant bring any camera's into the shows? Not even a camera phone? Whats up with that?

    Really? If the ticket confirmations said that, it is a new thing. Are you talking about Ed solo shows or PJ shows?

    ANY NEWS FOR THE EAST COAST ?? i know we got the band last year... but i was thinkin that with the new album they gotta give a little bit of love to the EAST... cmon we know how much we love and they love BOSTON and MSG shows...
