7 hours from Albany to Toronto?! Usually takes me 5 hours to cover that drive,...

oh, and i'll be at the show as well!
Before you take this guy's advice, keep in mind that a new law in Ontario is in effect ... if you are caught going over 150 km/h (about 93 m/h) you have your car impounded on the spot and you face a criminal charge.

It is only a matter of time before 100Pacer comes knocking on my door asking for a ride to Chicago on August 22nd :)

    NEVER!

My friend & I will be staying an extra couple of days so don't know if a carpool would work, but keep me in the loop just in case. Would be great to be greener & share gas costs. :D

Coming from Albany. Probably going to drive... would love to carpool... cost sharing is ok, but the company is better! Still looking for someone to fill my extra ticket... slowly marking off the list of friends that can't go :-( I'll post on the board if I'm still looking for someone in a few weeks! :-)

Google maps says exactly 6 hrs door to door (my place to Molson Amp). I find I lop off about 30-45 minutes from the google maps time for a 6 hr drive (I drive to Western PA ~1x per month). I have a "set it and forget it" policy (of sorts) where I set the cruise at 75mph. You can pass cops on the thruway at 75 without needing to tap the brakes. Makes the drive much less stressful... still moving along nicely, but no need to watch out for cops... just rock out.

10th show, can't wait.... feels like the first time, every time. Oh, and it's on my b-day! woo hoo...

Who's heading to the Toronto show and where are you coming from.

For me its not too bad, Cottage is in Muskoka (cottage country about 1.5 hrs north of Toronto) so I'll be heading down from there.

    Stoked

I'll be coming from Parry Sound :D

I'll be there. I'm split between Toronto and Calgary these days; for the show I'll be flying in from Calgary on the 20th and then taking the GO Train from my Toronto house to the show...so, two GO stops/15 minutes?
