Just wanted to thank everyone who organized and volunteered at the pre-parties...I've never been to a pre-party before, and I had a great time. It was really cool to meet so many fellow PJ fans.
Special thanks to Dirty Tom and everyone else who set up the lyrics contest...it was challenging, but fun!

That's insane! How wonderful! It was my first pre-party as well and it was very awesome. Incredible crowd and I actually won something. Shut down the bar at 1:30am though... so not cool! jk :D Every bar should play nothing but PJ everyday. I would never leave!!

Alright, I am STILL in shock how packed the bar was. Back in '06 I went to the Night 2 pre-party, and I'd say maybe 50? 60? people were there. And this time around, HUNDREDS!!!

    I was a little scared! hehe ;)

And I got to meet a few more people from the boards, hopefully I didn't come across as crazy!

Had a kickass time at both pre parties/after parties..It was great to meet a lot of pearl jam fans from all across the U.S at the parties..

More importantly raised a lot of money for a good cause..

Only down side is that I lost my cell phone and credit card at the first pre party...But, no biggie..

Looking forward to the Seattle parties..

I am not ashamed to say that I have a man-crush on Da Kid. Even gave him a big smooch in Chi-town.
  • Jimmy's new in town. Jimmy would like to go to the movies with you. Jimmy doesn't know too many people.
A child's rhyme stuck in my head...
It said "Life is nothing but a dream."
I've spent so many years in question
To find I'd known this all along.

Jimmy and George (or those speaking for them on this thread) are both hilarious. Thanks for the early-morning Seinfeld references. It's usually an indication that it's going to be a "spectacular" day. Hmm, maybe it's the day I meet Teri Hatcher.

Glad you enjoyed it. Due to popular demand we are having 2 more Lyric contests in Philly! For the 3rd and 4th pre-parties.
