I would guess that's the Friday night the Ex opens - that is a huge exhibition down by the Lake. Fireworks each night. Huge midway, rides, food - haven't been in a decade - but I think it may make for a crazy evening in the lakeshore area of Toronto!

EDIT: Looks to be opening night kids - http://www.theex.com/ - see ya all by the tiny Tims doughnuts!

    Confirmed my friend.

There is nothing like wandering around the midway eating waffle ice cream sandwiches and tiny tom's doughnuts after a blazing PJ show. Did it back in '03 and it was awesome.

yup, it must have taken 2 - 3 hrs to get out of the downtown core after the '03 show. I've never seen that much traffic that late at night, it was BRUTAL. Word to the wise: don't drive to the show if you can avoid it.

**Get your ticket from the Amphitheatre BEFORE going into the Ex. **

Admission to the Ex is free with a same-day concert ticket.

Remember the fire works in the background just as the '03 show was ending? I believe they were going off during Baba and Ed just stood there and admired them ... was a really cool ending to a great show!

Hey demetrios, I think that's Ontario place. The EX should be much larger and is on the other side of the Amp.

    That was awesome!!

I've fought CNE opening night traffic before a concert in the past and it is not fun!! Literally, give yourself a couple hours at least for Lakeshore traffic alone....or do yourself a huge favor - park far far away and take the subway in.....or walk.....
