For the first time in my 10C life...

if there is a US Pearl Jam tour announcement later today, and if tickets for 10C members go on sale this week, I am faced with a serious financial dilemma that makes me very sad. For the first time since I've been a 10C member, I have always been able to take advantage of 10C ticket sales and done very well. But with my just buying Eddie tickets two weeks ago for Memphis (and financing that trip), paying Uncle Bastard Sam for 2008 taxes, owing a fellow 10C pal the price of NIN tickets, being underemployed, and other life expenses, I may be screwed over in being able to buy 10C tickets this time around. I may have to wait until the last minute to buy ticketbastard tickets in order to go to a local show, and going from 8th row to nosebleed seats is soul crushing.

I'm scared and it sucks very badly. Am I the only one in this boat? I love PJ but Whitepants is finding it hard to make ends meet on necessities, let alone a luxury called Pearl Jam.

yeah, I had to choose between seeing Eddie again and waiting to see if PJ is coming around. I chose to wait and see as I couldnt swing both this time around. I just got my son tickets to Mayhem as well.

you could always find a 10c member who could give you a tick for free or at least discounted, it has happened before... and for mansfield 2 last year i got 8th row off TM so all hope is not yet lost!

can't you go to CVS or a supermarket or something and buy a prepaid visa/mastercard? just buy as many as you're willing to spend on tickets and voila

thanks guys. Yes, I'm sure if worse came to worse, if/when a Detroit show is announced, I can try to piggyback off a 10C member, or just buy a ticket at the window on the show date. Times are tough here in the Detroit area and I doubt if a PJ show will even sell out. So, I know all is not lost, but still, I want to be able to buy my 10C tickets, but I'm so cash strapped it's not even funny. :|

I am disappointed that I just recieved the e-mail letting me know about the 2 new shows. I got the e-mails 2 days ago about the Chicago show and whatever show it says.
    Save room for dessert!
