WOW you have an amazing ability. The third one and the one with the wheat blowing are my favorite.

    thanks everyone...

The wheat... I call that Rat Tails, oh and I took that shot at night..

there was a lot of lightning that night in West Palm Beach, as a matter of fact, that was the night that EV talks about from the 08 WPB show that lightning hit about 1000 times or something like that. I finally got around to looking at some of those shots.

if you ever have a chance, do it.. I have been twice so far. If you can afford a "tracker" get one. You can go into the back country, if not you just drive the loop. I didn't get a tracker this time( I did once before) but I will next time I go. Oh, also, they have the hotel there now and let me tell you it was really nice and well worth the $220 a night(thats what my room cost they have cheaper).

    Great photos !!!
I'm doing a long US trip in June-July (mostly national parks in the west) and I'll be going to Monument Valley so your photos get me more excited to be there.
Some of your pictures were taken in Antelope Canyon, right ?

Thanks, I went in June a few years back and man was it hot. Make sure to drink a lot of water in the desert areas( you don't even realize you are sweating).

Yup thats Antelope Canyon, its in Page.. Don't forget to go to Horseshoe Bend, its a few miles from Antelope and its about a 1.5 mile hike on soft sand. Its worth it and make sure you have a WIDE angle lens or you won't get the full capture.

Yeah ... I'm a bit worried by the temperature for this trip but I had no other choice than going in June.
I have been to deserts in Algeria and Morocco but it was in November so temperatures were still OK.

We always end up buying postcards of the places we visit because our photos are so crappy. Your photos are even better than the postcards! Thanks for sharing.
