Eddie: a Cubs or Sox fan???

Everyone has heard "Someday We'll Go All the Way" but as I was watching MTV Unplugged I noticed something VERY peculiar- Eddie was wearing a White Sox hat. I know the Sox was doing really well around the time of the taping- they won two division championships in 92 and 93.

This begs the question- is Ed a fair weather fan?

    The White Sox hat was given to him by his friend Jack McDowell who was a former pitcher for the Sox.

    Eddie is a cubs fan for sure. Nobody is perfect though.

    Unfortunately he is a Cubs fan. That's the only knock I have on EV.

    Sox only won the division in 93, by the way. :)

    Yes they did....the Jays broke my heart in 93.
