i was going to get all pissy and moany thinking you were only going to the concert to see eddie...but then i read the exam part so i realize your reasoning...

however i will say this...going to a show with a variety of artists only to see one artist perform only a few songs is a waist of money...i'd rather miss that artist than spend upwards to 100 maybe even 200 bucks for a ticket. i'd go to it if a majority of the artists in it i am interested in seeing...that way i get my money's worth and i'm not bored for 2 1/2 hours and only enjoying 30-45 minutes of it

I don't really see how it's your business. If I had tix to a show where I was expecting Ed and he wasn't gonna show, I would sell them, no doubt.

Was able to get rid of mine yesterday to some DMB fan. I really didn't want to go and agree w/ the above poster on paying so much (90) to see him for only a few songs. But as it got closer, the thought of seeing Eddie took over.

maybe you shouldnt have purchased them in the first place?

    Just saying,

very valid point in the time situation.

Howeever, we do not know the details, it could be a personal matter that we are not privy to , so I know that if ed could join in he definitely would be there but something else may have suddenly come up and he cannot attend.

We all know he'd want to be there not only for Pete Seeger himself but at least Bruce and Ben Harper ,..who are also slated to appear.

I will still gladly attend this benefit event for the Husdson River ,
since I am here in NY and it s a dreary rainy weekend day ,
and I have off tomorrow to see see the Boss,

There are way too many people involved in this---I may as well enjoy the event :

The guy's just trying to sell his tickets. Why bother with all the speculation & judgment on why he bought them, why he shouldn't have bought them, why he isn't going, etc. etc.
