Anybody know who originally did this song? It says it's a cover on this site but doesn't state who did it originally.

I also have "Price of pain" and "Words out of place". Are these covers or originals? They aren't even listed on this site....

    As far as I know, I Used to Work in Chicago is one of those traditional almost campfire-y songs that no one knows who originally wrote it. We used to sing it on the way to camp as a kind of dirty joke call-and-response song... for example, my favourite... I used to work in Chicago, I used to work in the store, I used to work in Chicago, I don't work there anymore. A girl came in and asked for a bowling ball.... a bowling ball she wanted, three fingers in her and thrown in the gutter she got! :lol:
