you mean to tell me I didn't get tickets to either Ryman show on either attempt and yet some fuckers get to go both nights and the only tickets I "won" in your fucking lottery were for Memphis night 2 rollover

suck my ass you douchebags
I'm done with this shithole
Good Riddance!
Congrats on winning tickets to both nights
not mad at those that were lucky enough to parlay both nights...
but that's some serious fucked up shit that people that won night one were even allowed a shot at night 2...
I live close and would like to see him at the Ryman but it's bullshit that the people that were shut out on Memphis 2 weren't given an opportunity above those that already were going to Ryman night one.
I know it sucks to lose the lotto. I only tried to get Nashville and lost the first time. I did get 2 singles through TM right as they went on sale. Get on TM at 10 am and give it a shot. Try for two, if denied ... try for singles and you can get tickets that way. Pearl Jam will be coming soon and you will be assured of tickets to those shows through 10c. It's no easy solution with such a small amount of tix for ed's shows.

Yeah, I've been pretty lucky in the past so I guess this was just an ebb and flow incident. I wasn't real disappointed about not winning the first night at the Ryman because I had a shot at Memphis because I "won" rollover tickets..then I felt real disappointed when the second Memphis date didn't happen...
but I am absolutely livid now that I have learned that the original process of limiting ticket purchases was not enforced on Ryman 2 when a whole bunch of us got denied on Ryman 1 and Memphis 2...totally unprofessional....but I know, Hey it's a friggin fan club for chistsake it's not exactly a first class operation I mean that and a couple of Fruit Loops boxtops might get me that secret Eddie decoder ring...

Care to clarify what you meant by process not being enforced for Ryman 2?
I'm really sorry you are very disappointed... I was bummed out when I lost Ryman 1... and am really thrilled for Ryman 2 and that's the only show we will attend - and we will be driving 10 hours for one show and we are fine with that, due to our tight budget.
I think you can get in at face value for the show(s) with the extras from single 10c members on this board.

clearly there wasn't any thought process when addressing Ryman night 2....just throw the ticket link up for a couple of days and let 'em get 'em and we'll draw numbers and send the winners emails....just lazy and unprofessional....anyone with an ounce of class and respect for the fans (and I might even say someone with some honest intellectual capital) might actually have taken time to look at a map and see that Memphis is darn near Nashville and then just connected the dots that a lot of peeps that wanted Memphis 2 were double sucker punched and denied...that person could have made the right decision to offer up Ryman 2 tickets to those that were double pumped with not even a reacharound courtesy to those that missed Memphis 2.
I think he means that people were eligible for both Nashville's even thought the original policy was one show. People did get both ATL's and Albany's though.
I won 2 for 2 and will MOST likely have an extra for both nights for face.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.

they obviously did it this way because it was less work on their end. going back and seeing who won memphis 2 and then re-holding and charging credit cards would have been a pain. if i was in your place i would be livid too but singles on TM do take 8 to 10 minutes to sell out so if you wanna go you can and there are plenty of 10c members that will have extras like me.

But it is difficult to find out who only purchased one show and won the next time it's been announced. I think their system for the EV tour with multiple shows worked differently than it would if it were separately? Just a guess.
One show rule applied to that day when the EV tour was announced with 11 shows.... the only exception was the rollover shows that people may have a chance at two shows.
That's what happened with Albany... if you won first show and put in for the rollover show...then you may get both if you were also selected for the 2nd one. Otherwise, only one show ( e.g.,selecting a rollover show or show that did not have potential rollover).
I think this was a last minute thing with Nashville for the 2nd show and since it's not really a rollover show included in the initial EV tour announcement, therefore everyone had a chance at it. I do not think they anticipated a 2nd show in the beginning.
I think things changed and happened too fast in little time...

Yeah, I'll give TM a shot tomorrow and if not that way I'll get 'em secondary market. I can't do single tickets because I would like to sit next to my wife.
There's not a bad seat at the Ryman but also there's not a good seat at the Ryman either. Think church pews with numbers (I shit you not) spaced 1 foot apart. Packed in
I finally was blessed with tickets to a show, thank god, now my girlfriend will get off my back about tickets to see Ed
