    Very Cool Stuff.
Probably a very personal piece for Ed, but something alot of us can surely relate to.

I know it's spoken word, but it's a really great display of the power of Eddie's voice.

I loved that Keruac thing from a few years ago too. I'd love to hear Eddie do a whole album of this kind of thing...Reading Bukowski...Vonnegut...as well as some of the stuff he's likely wrote himself such as I'm Still Here.

Of Course it would probably get slammed by Pitchfork and the Mullet Pabst Blue Ribbon Fratboy Faction...but I also think there is a large enough portion of the fanbase that would enjoy it.

    Anyways cool shit.

    That is 100%, completely false.

The track has never been released anywhere on anything. It lives on soley as an internet leak. It leaked with the original leak of Lost Dogs and was falsely labeled as the Japanese hidden track....but that was a lie. It was never released.

I loved this!!! It reminds me a bit of Jim Morrison's An American Prayer in a way, not content wise, but an incredible voice speaking before a background of almost tribal music in tune with the speaker. Now that would be intense, if EV did come out with an album of spoken word.

    :D Too fucking right!

Lyrically its of the same batch of songs as Longing To Belong, Goodbye, Broken Hearted and Satellite. They all would have made a cool little EP or something, maybe with 20/04/02 and the Uke version of Cant Keep aswell. Ah well, the Vedder EP that never was! And he didnt sound as apathetic on it as he did on Riot Act!

His delivery here is so sharp, hurt, and easy to relate to. (Not like his abstract mumbles on RA)

I freaking love "Satellite." Love "Can't Keep" on uke as well, but think they did a great job re-doing that one as a band song.

I've heard parts of it before.

aNiMal, who would have leaked it?? I can only assume Ed put it out there somewhere. And I doubt it was an accident.

I would assume if it's not authorized, they would hve it taken down.
Don't come closer or I'll have to go

That is 100% completely false. After a little research.............. It came from a Lost Dogs promo

I am surprised that this is being talked about so openly. In the past, people were "hushed" on the pit for talking about this. It is really good, though.

If I knew where it was I would take you there. There's much more than this
