i,ve seen return flights for around 120quid but i,m unsure about getting back to Amsterdam airport after the gig
setlist wise i aint bothered but i,d love to hear release at one of the shows i,m attending

Current plan is to take the Eurotunnel from Folkestone -> Calais, then drive to Rotterdam - Google tells me it's a 3 hour journey.
God knows where I park up, or where I stay when I get to Rotterdam!
Anybody in a similar situation?
Thanks for the advises! I'm looking forward to visit Amsterdam and also Utrecht. You're right, maybe Amsterdam has more historical places to visit, any suggestion about Rotterdam??

Yeah I tried that, but from a bird's eye view you can't really tell what anything is. Looks like a big place though. Hopefully there'll be a pub or cafe or something nearby we can use. Or a petrol station like in Dusseldorf - I'm surprised they put up with us all trailing in there!

No Dutch postings yet...here's one. Not from Rotterdam but from Eindhoven though. Used to visit Rotterdam many years ago regularly when my boyfriend lived there. Great city to go out at night, it has a lot of bars. You can go to see Rotown for example.
Ahoy' is in the south, below the river Maas, but with the metro (Zuidplein-station) you are in no-time in the centre of the city.

Parking is no problem near Ahoy. There's a really big parking lot next to the arena.
When this is full, you can park at the shopping mall "zuidplein".
In this mall (real close to the arena), you will find anything you need (several restaurants, a burger king and a mc donalds) and quite a lot of stores.
From this mall you can go to the centre of rotterdam by metro. It's only 10 to 15 minutes.
Everything went wrong with the presale, I now got two tickets but a friend of mine got none.

We're going by car on the day of the concert (the 15th) and back the next day. Then flying from Amsterdam to Manchester from Amsterdam with bmibaby.com.

let's get ready for another great show. not really sure if they can better themselves compared to the Nijmegen Goffertpark gig 2 years ago. that was just far out and special ("No More" for the first time!!)
too bad I couldn't get fansite tickets. livenation helped me out, although I got stuck on the second ring. should still be a great place to see "The Ed-ster and his m8es"!!

Edit: By the way, I wrecked my car (check my pick!) and a friend of mine has been having problems with a whiplash ever since the Nijmegen gig. despite it all, we still have to be there!!!
