Really? Not exactly a ringing endorsement of his life's work, is it?
To be honest about the concept of the book though... Hasn't this been done to death already. Read Clark Humphrey's book Loser. It covers the exact ground that this review purports the new book to cover. Exact. I'm not saying Loser isn't without its errors, but the template is already there in great detail. Or how about the "Ten Past Ten" article from Spin (http://www.fivehorizons.com/archive/articles/spin801.shtml? That probably contains more band specific information than an other publication that could come out. (assuming people are just interested in reading about PJ instead of the whole affair)
I wasn't aware of Loser, so I can't offer any comparison...
