Seriously, isn't this the best game ever?

...hadn't played in years, but brought my 7 year old niece to play while on vacation, and now I've been playing a few times since I returned.

anyone else embrace their inner geek-warrior?

    me and 3 friends entered a tournament in 6th grade & won. it's a blast! sadly, i haven't played it in a very long time. 8-)

    love laser tag. those were always my favorite birthday parties when i was growing up. Me and a group of my friends have a pact that if any of us ever become really rich, one of the first things we buy is an abandoned warehouse that we'll convert into the ultimate lasertag complex. Multiple floors, fake jungles, grenades, everything. can't wait till one of us wins the lotto

    Basically similar to a real flash-bang grenade, when it goes off it just sends out a sphere of laser. if you're not hiding behind something, you're hit, or if you're close enough, you're pretty much hit regardless. Trust me we've spent a lot of late-night drinking sessions perfecting this plan

    I have been ITCHING to go back to a laser tag place for months... i LOVED it when I was a teen. I might just go this weekend!

    Ask about specials. We have two places. One place is at Skate Nation and theirs is really cool, but since it's dead on wednesdays, they have $5 for an 18 minute game... but you really have almost no one there, so you gotta bring at least one friend. Another place is Laser Quest. They have 20 minute games for $8 or if you spend $25 to become a member, the games are then $6 each. ...so see what specials on what days.

    Is laser tag the one where you wear those vests with all the flashy lights..no pain, just imagination? If so i remember doing that when i was younger..i think the last time i played that was for my 18th birthday, funny story behind that day which ill tell next paragraph....since a paintball field was set up 1/2hr away i started playing that..its sooooooo much better, real adrenaline..real contact..real fear of getting hit..fun times..i got some wicked bruises..my #1 bruise comes from my own personal trigger finger..NEVER TRY TO SQUAT AND WALK AT THE SAME TIME..IT ENDS BADLY :lol:

    So my story...
    Being a female, about to celebrate her 18th birthday with a bunch of her awesomest friends, i went out to buy myself a nice outfit for the night..now Blue is my fave color so naturally i went the blue theme..Dark blue, light blue and white top..it was reeeally pretty..blue Vans shoes.. baby blue fitted and flared pants..and of course a brand new bra and g-banger....anyways...
    I looked hawwwt! I got lots of wonderful comments and was feeling SUPER!
    I met up with the guys and girls outside TimeZone where they had a laser game set up, we paid for our game and waited for our turn..
    Our time comes and we start to head up the stairs, when one of my boys says.."Hmmm, Nice G-String Nickers!" Im like "WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF"? Turns out there was UV lights above the stairs and my brand new white G-banger was glowing through my pants like a motherf@@ker!....Gets WORSE!!!
    So anyways, i laughed it off as there wasnt much i could do at that stage, i had paid for my game and i was hanging to pew pew myself to victory!
    The game starts and we are all having a ball..the music being played was the Terminator theme , which was right up my alley seen as T2 is my fave movie of all time..so i getting right into the game, running, pew pewing, hiding, pew pewing..jumping into a squat..and "CRACK" :o OH SHIT :shock: Not only did i hear that, but Stephen one of my mates looks at me like.. :shock: :o:lol: and shouts out over the music "that wasnt what i think it was was it?" What he saw next was something most girls try to conceal at the best of times...i reached around like i was about to pick out a wedgy and felt g-string and the bare bits of my bum...my brand new birthday pants had totally come apart at the seems of the crotch and left me baring once again a white glowing g-banger :lol: It was the end of the game for me..i forced Stephen to give me his jacket he had around his waist and tied it around mine and headed downstairs to join the fellas who missed out on the first round...the guys loved it.."gimme a look, gimme a look", I never played laser games again. :lol:

    love laser tag! when I was in high school - a bunch of us had gear and would drive way out into the woods and play at night. we were not sober which added to the stuff we saw - and even though there was no pain from the paintballs I remember being hurt plenty of times because of running into three foot logs and falling off cliffs & through rotton logs & getting lost and all kinds of stupid stuff. Its dark, the little red lights are going back & forth and the sound of your receiver is beating in time with your heart. Then you would get hit and it'd beating a little faster...LOL fun times! I am a bit older & wiser and haven't been out to do that for a while now ;) Not sure I could handle all the climbing, crawling & falling that made up all that fun.

    I've never played in one of those play arenas - guess that would be a little safer :) (but not nearly as fun!)

    I want to play laser tag so badly! I haven't played in a really long time. But all my friends don't wanna go because they say we're too old or some shit like that, I've suggested it a bunch of times. So I have no one to play with and I can't play by myself lol. I'm 22 btw.

    I'm 33 and went with the guy who owns a store next to me who's 50. I started playing in college when I was 19, so 22 is easily an ok age. And you can go and play against whomever is there.
