JUST GOT A PHONE CALL FROM THE VOLCOM store in NYC

the store Manager (sully) called me to let me know that they another shipment of pearl jam tshirt and 7"...THESE ARE ONLY LTD TO 1000.....thats write LIMITED TO ONLY 1000....he said they have a about 10 instock in the 700 range........im sure you can pick them up at any store...........GOOD LUCK

    That better not be the case... there's nothing worse than taking a limited edition thing that you use to get sales and then print up more after the fact. :evil:

    When anyone gets one post here if its the exact same thing renumbered - I'm really curious..

    If it's the same tracks, it's no biggie....I admit, I flipped one to a guy in Italy who couldn't get his hands on one over there...made his day...and mine hasn't even been pulled out of the sleeve...how many versions of EVEN FLOW and PORCH do we need anyways...it is really cool, so don't get me wrong, but I'd think the DROP IN THE PARK Vinyl would be more "desirable"

    It's not really about the tracks - just the fact that they advertised it as limited to 2000, and then it sells well so they just bust out another 1000.

    I'd say at least 50% of the people who bought them bought them because they were limited edition collectibles. How many people bought it to hear yet another live version of Even Flow and Porch?

    It's basically false advertising if its true... its now a run of 3,000 no matter how you try to number it.

    That's shitty. How much? I wouldn't be surprised if they raised the price and try to market it as 1/1000 to make it seem more limited. Wow, that's very corporate of Volcom. I wonder if PJ had to give them the OK since it's their material or was it just a blanket yes the first time and Volcom owns the rights to these two tracks forever more.

    That is ridiculous if they printed more; purely false advertising; we should sue 8-)

    just got the "NEW" 7" in the mail today........TOTALY DIFFERENT .....GO BUY ONE IF YOU CAN......HOW THE EFF CAN I POST A PICTURE OF IT........the back cover is BLACK not white the sticker on the vinyl is RED not white and the ltd of 1000 is printed on the back cover ...hand writen number......give me a few minutes to try and load pictures on this site

    sorry for the blurry pic but i took them with my MAC laptop... is also why the pictures are backwards.......hope this helps you out....the front cover is the same....
