Ah... gotcha. With all the rumors of "pj playing the spectrum", I assumed that is what he was referring to, since OP wasn't specified as a solo-show.
Day of show the promoter usually puts additional tickets on sale. Each artist is allotted a number of complimentary tickets per their contract for friends, vips, etc. If they don't use them all, they usually put them back on sale... especially if ed's crew is yanking people from the rafters to put in the front row. I'd bet they put those rafters-tickets back on sale day of.

There are always ticket drops. You just have to look on a consistent basis. What's nice about live nation is that you can pick your seats. I got my nin / ja tickets this way.

And the BAD thing about Live Nation is that the Fees are worse than Ticketmaster. I've seen up to 30% of the ticket price. Heaven help us when Live nation merges with Ticketmaster. THe fees will cost the same as the tickets.
